Yes, entirely. No membership dues, no fee to start a chapter. LEAP is a student-founded chartered organization, not a business — nothing on the platform is monetized against students.

Any high schooler, grades 9–12. You don't need experience in a chapter's field — chapters exist to build that experience, not require it going in.

LEAP C.O. is a student-founded chartered organization that runs both centrally (TutorNest, this website) and locally through chapters students start at their own schools — similar in structure to how DECA or HOSA chapters work, but built and run by students rather than a national office.

LEAP is currently self-run by its student founders with no outside funding. The Programs page lists BRIDGE / Project DAKSH, an in-development initiative aimed at generating funding for educational resources — but day-to-day, nothing about using LEAP costs students money.

Each chapter runs on the same four pillars — mentorship, networking/activities, and volunteering — through weekly or biweekly meetings, plus events, workshops, and service projects members opt into. Every chapter's page has a full breakdown specific to that field.

Plan on one meeting every one to two weeks, plus whatever events, mentorship, or volunteering you choose to take on. Officers put in more time running the chapter day-to-day.

Most schools require a faculty advisor to officially charter any student organization — check your school's club policy. LEAP doesn't require the advisor to run programming; the chapter stays entirely student-led.

All mentor calls and speaker sessions run through LEAP-facilitated channels, not a member's personal contact info. Full details are in the Safety Policy.
